Description: Imperials, or Humans, are an ape-like race of bipeds from the Earth-like planet of Terra, no, not just Earth-like, but Earth itself. They are the most plentiful race in the galactic alliance, and the only one to have multiple planets to call home. It should be noted that they are not even from the same galaxy as the alliance, but from one that they refer to as "The Milky Way Galaxy". Even with this separation, Imperials inhabit many planets in both galaxies. Imperials are a determined race, hard to kill, and even harder to shake off. They evolved in a savannah of their world as hunter-gatherers, and eventually spread across Terra, and eventually, a small chunk of the Milky Way. Human magical capabilities seem random, one could look at a thousand Imperials and never see one with good enough magic reserves, but every once and a while you find an Imperial mage, called a Psyker. It is unknown why they have so little magic, it may have something to do with a large amount of early Psykers killing themselves in ritual suicide to summon their parent-deity. While not a lot of Imperials have magical abilities, they are good at harnessing it, using the magic in their ships to access faster than light travel, which only helped their spread.

Society: Each planet the Imperials own can have their own society with different priorities and goals. The military of the Imperials is massive, spanning multiple chapters and groups, each with a different theme and code, though mostly staying out of the way. There's also the Inquisition, who deals with trouble makers on the various worlds, usually by blowing them up.

Religion: Another commonality of the Imperials is the god they believe in, their God-Emperor, the Father-God of the Imperials, he considers all Imperials to be his children, and was watching from afar until he decided to come out and help them, he even created several troops and 18 children, though a good chunk of those children betrayed him, causing him to sit upon his Golden Throne and stay there and rot, while the loyal children all died or became lost as well.

Relationship with Other Species: Imperials were incredibly hostile to other species at first, this was somewhat appropriate as every species they met wanted to kill them/put them in zoos, the Imperials responded by becoming cruel and cold for a long while. Imperials also became enemies with themselves, the Daemons, Imperials who became allied with four children of the Elder of the Unknown, and Mekhanists, who have Imperial DNA within their own. Eventually, the Imperials made peace with the Mekhanists. Soon after, the Maci were found, and then the Mini-Milky Way with the Radaptors and Zaxons.
Supplement to my recursive fanfiction Pony POV Series: Friends From Beyond

Imperials are not my original creation, and is my universe's version of the Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40k.

Edit: Put in some information about the Imperials' home.

... Well, that's one way to nerf down the Imperium. No I'm not bashing this at all, but I've grown up with Games Workshop's version, so. Plus trying to fit in Warhammer 40k period in the POV series is basically impossible to do really well. They are so different.

By the Dark Gods, it even has its own pantheon. One that puts everything the Draconnewui half has ever done to shame.

Is the shortage of Primarchs on purpose?
